Meet the Brinton Firm Legal Team
MATTHEW L. BRINTON
Matthew Brinton has practiced law since 2012, after graduating from DePaul University and the Southwestern School of Law. In 2016, Matt founded the Brinton Firm after realizing that the legal rights of tenants were vastly unrepresented and that, as a result, many meritorious cases were not being heard. The firm rapidly expanded to its present size, becoming the premier tenants? rights firm in Southern California.
In the past three years, Matt has recovered over $10,000,000 on behalf of Los Angeles? tenants. Matt has been named a California Super Lawyer three years in a row.
In his spare time, Matt collects rare books and whiskies. Both are often, but not always, enjoyed in moderation.
Nick Solish is a trial attorney and a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Solish has handled high-stakes matters, including the defense of an online auction house sued by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Mr. Solish has won three trials and second-chaired a trial where he won a jury verdict assigning a multi-million dollar property interest to his client. He also obtained a ruling that the Plaintiff?s evidence of a supposed modification to a property deal was a forgery.
Mr. Solish successfully won a high figure settlement for tenant clients who suffered health effects from neglected mold infestation in their Santa Monica apartment building, as well as a subsequent slip and fall when the mold was removed without permits.
